    I've heard about that. It looks interesting, though it's one of those things I'm not sure what I'd use it for. But it's probably one of those things where it would start to make more sense if I actually had one and played with it a bit.

    I think Creative Labs is trying to appeal to older people who remember playing PC games from the early-mid 90s (which benefitted from adding a sound card to a PC). It looks like they also brought back the talking parrot from back then too, for the same appeal to nostalgia.

    Looks like the main point of it is to have your one set of speakers and headphones and whatever else, and be able to quickly/easily select which of your media devices to connect to. Probably makes more sense for someone younger that is constrained to one room or something. Probably not as useful in a big house where you have speakers on your TV, separate speakers on your PC, separate speakers on your stereo system, etc.
