• Setting Up DOS DOORs

From Jordanjm@VERT/JORDANJM to All on Saturday, June 20, 2026 23:13:53
    I have DOSEMU2 installed.
    I have sbbs/ctrl/dosemu.conf
sbbs/ctrl/sbbs.ini use dosemu set to true

What else do I need to do?
I am using SBBS on Linux.
    I've tried a wrapper script.

I have dosemu and fdpp installed.

Synchronet comes with its own drivers, are you using 32 bit or 64 bit linux? have you gone through the wiki?

I'd say you need to start by reading these and following the
    instructions:

    https://wiki.synchro.net/howto:dosemu2

    https://wiki.synchro.net/howto:dosemu

Then ask more specific questions here if you have any.

You should also fix this ^^^^^^^^^^^^

Do you happen to have dosemu setup correctly in your configuration dirs? Usually in /etc/dosemu/* or /etc/conf.d/dosemu or close to it?

I am using 64 bit Ubuntu Server Edition (Headless Remote).
I've read the wiki, read various pages, and tried a lot. I can get Legend of the Red Dragon running locally in DOSEMU (currently using LORD 4.06). I can pass the DOOR.SYS dropfile with it formatted the way LORD likes (have to use a wrapper script for CR/LF etc.).

I was hoping someone who had set things up before could point me to the next step or two.
